Good afternoon Ahh~Mazing readers! Today I have a review that is going to tickle you pink…or blue if you can’t catch your breath.

Key Wilde & Mr. Clarke are the winners of the 2009 Parent’s Choice Gold Award and they have collaborated again to release in May of this year a new CD titled Pleased To Meet You.

Let me tell you a bit about these two creative, witty and talented men…

Key Wilde & Mr. Clarke began writing and performing together in 1990. Mr. Clarke, grew up in England and France. Even though he has been here in the states since the 1980′s you can still hear his British accent.  His early bands were prominent in the 80’s Long Island  punk/hardcore scene. He is currently a high school science and special education teacher. Key Wilde grew up in Texas and North Carolina and started out playing Bluegrass and has built quite a reputation for himself that includes not only music but also art. His art has appeared in newspapers, magazines greeting cards and children’s books. Mr. Wilde is also the father of two children.

As most of you know we listen to a lot of music in my home and also to many different genres. When I get the opportunity to review children’s music or family music I usually jump at the chance. Well, when Abby and I received this CD in the mail we immediately popped it in the computer to take a listen. I have to say that these guys are really funny. They write the most whimsical lyrics and use a wide range of instruments to produce just the most fun music possible.  We just laughed and laughed at ”Raised By Trolls” and “Eggplant Man”. We rocked out to “Pleased To Meet You” and “Bigga Bagga”. We were lulled by the bluegrassy sounds of “Chuckers” and “Falling Star”.

Today readers I would ask you to open your hearts and ears to the most pleasing sounds of Key Wilde and Mr. Clarke. Go online to their website and take a look around. They have the cutest bios on all the characters they have created for their songs. They even have a Sound Cloud in there so you can listen and get a taste of their music. These two gentlemen really love what they do and it really shows. I tell you I really would like to have them perform at my daughter’s school.

I haven’t laughed this hard in quite a while.
