Thank you to Shelton Interactive for providing me with a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Multitasking Mom’s Survival Guide, free of charge, for review. These are my own honest opinions.
When this Chicken Soup for the Soul book arrived at my door it was like the clouds parted and the angels sang. This is a title I needed to read! While my husband is extremely helpful and active in things with our family and children, I still feel a lot of days as though everything is on my own shoulders. Ever since leaving my IT career back in July 2012 to stay at home with our girls – a dream I had ever since the day I saw a positive on our first pregnancy test – I have felt like a failure on a daily basis in some capacity. I, like nearly every other mother I know, seem to try and take on an impossible workload of mothering and household duties every single day. I needed to read about other mothers who do it all and many who do so much more than myself. What a fabulous, uplifting read!
