In A COMPLETE UNKNOWN Timothee Chalamet gives an uncannily good performance as the poetic singer/songwriter Bob Dylan, whose many great songs have influenced countless writers and musicians for over 60 years. Filmmaker James Mangold focuses on Dylan’s meteoric rise from unknown folk singer in New York to international rock star in the years 1961-1965. Chalamet sings and plays guitar and harmonica, sounding very much like Dylan on many of his early songs like Blowin’ in the Wind and “Like a Rolling Stone.” (Opens in theaters on Christmas)
