HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Most people know there used to be a second human species we call Neanderthals. But bones in a Siberian cave 40 years ago suggested a third strain we call Denisovians. Now a Buddhist monk in Tibet has found a 160,000-year-old skull in a cave. Tibet is nowhere close to the Siberian cave where the first Denisovian find was made. But this Tibetan skull seems also to be Denisovian. Both Neanderthal and Denisovian DNA can be found in modern humans.

It’s no longer fictional. After 50 years, there’s a real Sesame Street. CNN reports that New York City Mayor de Blasio made it official at the corner of West 63rd and Broadway. He was joined by all the stars, Ernie, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie. This was to celebrate the children’s show’s 50th anniversary. That’s near where the show has been shot since 1969. So the next sunny day, you can head on down to Sesame Street.

Sometimes, the best parts of watching youth sports is just seeing the kids being kids. This little guy can’t stop dancing while waiting for a ball to be hit his way.
