A continue our First Alert in surf conditions as a High Surf Warning continues for most north and west facing shorelines. Waves are expected to peak over 40 feet with sets near 50 feet for north shores Sunday, with west shores peaking at 25 to 35 feet.

Surf is expected to fall into the high surf advisory range sometime Monday and then decline below advisory levels Tuesday. But we have a First Alert for yet another large northwest swell expected Thursday and Friday.

Rainfall will be below normal for much of the coming week. Trade winds will return Sunday night and become locally breezy before dropping off again for the second half of the week as a weakening front approaches from the northwest. So far, none of the recent cold fronts have really reached the islands, and dry and stable conditions are expected for the foreseeable future.
