HFD investigating cause of fire that broke out in Pearl City home

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Fire Department was able to put out a fire at a home in Pearl City on Friday.

Crews were called to the scene on Akeukeu Street at about 11:45 a.m.

HNN was told an “aggressive fire attack” was needed, but firefighters quickly got it under control.

Officials said nobody was found inside the home at the time of the incident.

Investigators are looking into the cause.
