October is pride month in Honolulu, and the city is celebrating!

"It was like we were in our own little world."

The first Pride march in Honolulu is traced back to June 30, 1974.

Now in its 37th year, six contestants from around the world fought for the coveted title.

“I have been bullied my entire life because of the fact that I was different. I don’t allow it to discourage who I am."

The stones have deep ties to Hawaiian history and gender identity.
