HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Starting in the new year, you might notice more in your take-home pay.

That’s because the state is reducing the amount of income tax being withheld on pay day.

Many taxpayers will also receive a larger tax refund in the coming years.

The amount you’ll get will depend on your tax bracket.

For example, if you make $50,000 a year, you can expect to see about $33 more dollars per bimonthly pay period, which will save you about $790 a year.
