Estimated Mega Millions jackpot grows to $944 million

(CNN) - While shoppers look for the perfect Christmas gift, the real treasure might be hidden in a nearly $1 billion lottery ticket.
No one matched all six numbers in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing.
The numbers were 2, 20, 51, 56, 67 and the Mega Ball 19.
The estimated jackpot is now $944 million.
One lucky winner will get the choice to take home a lump sum of $429.4 million.
The next Mega Millions drawing is on Christmas Eve.
December has historically been a lucky month for players with 13 jackpots being won during the holiday season.
However, no one has ever won a jackpot on Christmas Day, according to the Mega Millions organization.
