79-year-old pedestrian critically injured after being struck by vehicle in Kalihi

Paramedics treated her for extensive injuries, including a head injury.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 79-year-old female was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kalihi, according to Emergency Medical Services.

It happened around 4:10 p.m. in the area of Eluwene and Kalihi streets.

Paramedics treated her for extensive injuries, including a head injury, EMS said.

Police closed a portion of Kalihi Street, between Dillingham Boulevard and Eluwene Street, for the investigation.
