Facebook, Instagram may be down as users report outages
(Gray News) - Several Facebook and Instagram users are reporting problems with the social media platform amidst a possible Meta outage.
There have been more than 90,000 reported issues with Facebook Wednesday afternoon, with the reports coming in at about 1 p.m., according to Downdetector.
About 57% of the reported problems are with the app, while 33% are reporting issues with the website.
According to a report from Forbes, some Facebook users received an error message when they tried to log in that said “We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”
Instagram may also be facing a reported outage. According to Downdetector, there have been more than 71,000 reported issues, a majority of which involve the app.
