HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Pickleball is a growing sport in Hawaii and across the country and many doctors say they’re also seeing an increase in injuries because of this.
Dr. Sandy Noon is an avid pickleball player and she’s also the chief of primary care for Hawaii Pacific Health Medical Group.
She breaks down some of the common injuries pickleball players experience, including an Achilles tear or even heat strokes.
Dr. Noon also shares how to prevent these injuries and what to do if you do end up getting injured.
