HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Dr. Pat Morgan is a pediatrician who specializes in child abuse and she’s also the medical director for the Kapiolani Child Advocacy and Protection Center at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children.

Dr. Morgan explains the responsibility of a child abuse pediatrician and what signs of neglect they look out for in keiki.

She also shares some advice on what people can do if they suspect a child in their life is being abused in any way.
