HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Approximately 80% Americans, or about 6 million people, are living with undiagnosed obstructive sleep apnea, according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Hawaii Pacific Health’s Dr. Mary Worthen, an ear nose and throat surgeon who specializes in obstructive sleep apnea surgery, explains what sleep apnea is and its symptoms.
Worthen also breaks down treatment options for sleep apnea and explains the importance of getting treatment to prevent further complications.
