Earth Week~ Acure Organics~ Review & Giveaway (US Only)

Thank you to Acure Organics for providing me with all the wonderful products listed below, free of charge, for review.  These are my own honest opinions.

Hello it’s me again…Stacy with another Earth Week review.

Our Planet. She is beautiful isn’t she? Green pastures with rolling hills. Fresh water streams and rivers. Salty oceans. Desert Sands. Frozen tundra. Mountains so tall they seem like they reach the sky. I love our planet.

That is why when I ran across Acure Organics and began to read about not just their products but also about their philosophy I was inspired by their love of what they create, I was awed by their integrity and I was made humble by their commitment to the world around them. This company is truly committed to making the world a better place.

I really could go on and on about the great things they are doing. But you, dear reader, need to go to their website and take a look at just how much they love what they do, how they do it and why they do it.

What I am going to do now is take you into my world. It’s not a pretty world people. I have not been diligent about my skin care (sigh) and now at 45 years old I am paying the price. Or I was until I started using Acure Organics!!

Let’s start from the top and work our way down shall we?

For my hair Acure Organics sent me Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell Shampoo + Conditioner and Leave-in Conditioner and 100% Certified Organic Argan Oil

I have to admit to you all right now…my hair is falling out (sigh). It began when I was about 30. Over the years I have tried a lot of different products. What I have learned from that is to be cautious so I am picky about everything that has to do with my hair. Acure Organics got it right. My scalp is clean with no residue build up but it is also moisturized and does not feel oily. It seems like all hair care products dry out my scalp. Even the ones that are supposed to take care of the scalp. The  Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell Shampoo + Conditioner and Leave-in Conditioner left my hair clean, soft, and manageable. Acure sent me the 100% Certified Organic Argan Oil to help with split ends, brittleness and shine. When I put just a few drops of this in the palm of my hands and rubbed them together I could feel it warming up. Ahh! Bliss! It helped to define my curls and added so much shine that I almost didn’t recognize my own hair. These are a keeper for me!! Oh yea…and the fresh minty scent is a nice eye opener.

For body care Acure Organic sent me: Argan Cell Stimulating Body Wash and Lemongrass + Moroccan Argan Oil Firming Body Lotion.

Do you know that feeling of your skin being so tight after a shower that you feel like you might pop? Seems like all the body washes on the market say they moisturize. I thought I was using a pretty good one myself. I was wrong. I have never used the word supple to describe my skin before (or anything else for that matter) but I have to say that from the moment I stepped out of the shower and dried myself off (the first time) I felt better. My skin fit me! Supple…yes that is the word I will use from now on. On to the body lotion. Do you sometimes have that “is this stuff ever going to soak into my skin?” feeling when you apply your lotion? Not with this stuff. I applied the lotion right after my shower. It smells so clean! It soaked right in. My skin was thirsty people!! I went about my day doing all the incredible things I do (teehee) and that night when I went to bed I took a good look at the skin on my legs. Normally I look like an alligator handbag. Not anymore! There was not one dry skin cell in sight!!! I am so happy!!!

Okay now people…brace yourselves! Don’t scream it’s not an alien…

I got a good scare in on my daughter! I love being a mom!

It’s just me using the Cell Stimulating Mask for the first time. I have always enjoyed doing these masks.

For facial skin care Acure Organics sent me: Their Sensitive Facial Cleanser, Hydrating Toner, Day Cream, Radical Resurfacing Facial Lotion, Night Cream, Radical Wrinkle Complex, Super Fruit Eye Cream, Cell Stimulating Mask, and Lip Balm.

Since I had already showered and everything when I received my package from Acure Organics I waited until bed time before I tried any of  my facial products. So I started with washing my face with the Sensitive Facial Cleanser.  It was nice not to have that tight skin feeling on my face. I just felt clean and fresh. Next I used the Hydrating Toner then the Eye Cream. I really do have very sensitive skin. Especially around my eyes and I was afraid the eye cream would burn. To my relief it never has. Then I was on to the Radical Wrinkle Complex, Night Cream and finally I used the 100% Certified Organic Argan Oil. I know… oil on my face? I was a bit leery too. I figured I was surely going to have an acne breakout. Is there anything worse than middle aged acne? I mean come on wasn’t I punished enough during puberty! But again I was surprised…no zits. The oil penetrated the lotions and my skin just drank it up.

Now on to the “over time effects”.

When it comes to skin care we all know that it takes time for some things to really show. The first  morning that I woke up after having used these products only one time I noticed that my pores were smaller. A lot smaller! That made me grin. Then upon closer inspection I noticed that the bags I have under my eyes that were big enough to hold $50 worth of groceries were drastically reduced. After 15 days of using the eye cream I would say that I’m only $15 worth of groceries and my dark circles are fading. My pores look like they have disappeared. My wrinkles are softening. Even the deep ones (my worry lines across my fore head) appear to be reducing in deepness. My boyfriend even commented the other night that I look younger and my skin is softer. And for a man to notice…let’s just say I was almost speechless!

The Argan oil has helped to fade a small scar I have on my face. I won’t share how I received a crescent shaped scar on my monolithic nose I’ll just say that I felt like an idiot when it happened (sigh).  It has also help to make my feet ready for the coming flip flop weather. That stuff is like a miracle in a bottle. Even the cuticles on my fingernails are healthier and not all raggedy looking anymore.

They say that great things come in small packages. This brings me to the last thing…the lip balm. This stuff is awesome. Yesterday I thought I would time it. Ya know see how long that smooth feeling lasted. I put it on at about 8:30 in the morning. I ate, drank and talked a bunch. At 1:30 in the afternoon my lips still felt smooth. Not greasy or cakey (I know that’s not a word but it best describes some lip balms). And the smell…mint and dark chocolate…yummy!

I am very pleased with every product I have tried from Acure Organics!
