Have you heard of Jamberry Nails?  I hadn’t until just recently and immediately I could feel an obsession and addiction forming.  Lauren DiMattia is an Independent Consultant with Jamberry Nails and has helped me learn how to transform doing my nails!

The story of Jamberry Nails begins with three sisters who possess distinct personal tastes, but share a love for style. After an expensive afternoon together at the nail salon, Lyndsey, Christy and Keri vowed to find a simpler, more cost effective way to keep their hands looking polished, while still spending time together. After lots of trial and error, the proprietary nail wraps of Jamberry Nails launched in late 2010. The DIY, at-home application and incredible variety of designs caught on quickly and sales soared. A new era of nail art was born. Gone are the days of nails that chip and flake after only a few days! Gone are the days of the single colored manicure. Gone are the mani/pedis that take all afternoon and most of your cash too! Jamberry nail wraps arm you with style and confidence while demanding very little of your time or money. Join the nail revolution, ladies!

jam facts

The wraps are a solid film covering that can be applied directly to the nail to achieve a look not found anywhere else.  This special material is both pressure and heat activated to create a water tight bond to your nail.  The shields are made in the USA, with no harsh chemicals and are latex free.

This new nail treatment can be applied in about fifteen minutes at home.  With over 300 styles to choose from, these designer wraps are made to last up to two weeks on fingers and four or more on toes.  Unlike traditional nail polish, they won’t chip and require no drying time.  It’s so easy to achieve a professional salon look at a fraction of the cost.

I love that budgeting for Jamberry Wraps is simple since all sheets are $15 (with the exclusion of Collegiate and custom wraps ~ yes, you can design your own!).  What do you get for $15?  You’ll be amazed and I was, too.  One full sheet of wraps gives you at least two manicures and one pedicure!  That basically makes each one $5!  Want the deal to get even better?

jamberry math

Jamberry does math in a fabulous way.  1+1+1 = 4 in the world of Jamberry!  That’s right; you can buy 3 sheets and get the 4th for free!  That means at least 8 manicures and 4 pedicures for $45 … or $3.75 each!  I dare you to find a spa that can give you a deal like that!

If you have smaller nails or, like me, little girls who love having their nails done but cannot sit still long enough for nail polish or for whom you don’t want to use chemical-filled polish on, you don’t want to miss Jamberry Juniors!  Here is a picture to show you a comparison of full-size wraps versus juniors:

full versus junior jamberry

There are some seriously adorable Jamberry Juniors wraps available that you must see!  My girls have had two “Jamicures” already and it is such a special thing to them when we sit down to put them on … and I love not having to constantly repeat “Don’t move!  Don’t touch that!  Let them DRY!”.

I am an acrylic nails kind of girl and I am happy to share that Jamberry wraps can be used on acrylics and over shellac!  In fact, some of their designs are denoted as “clear” which means whatever nail color you have beneath, shows through on the wrap!  This is especially cool with some chevron and polka dot patterns!  Here is an example of just that:

To apply, you need your wraps, a heat source (you can use a hair dryer, a space heater or you can purchase a Jamberry heater for $19), a nail file and manicure scissors.  That’s it!

With wedding, prom and vacation seasons all gearing up right now, it is the perfect time to explore Jamberry Nails and stop wasting money at the spa!

{Buy It!}  You can purchase Jamberry Wraps at any time from Lauren’s Jamberry site.  The best part is that shipping is amazing and it will just be a matter of days until your wraps arrive in your mailbox!  (And if your head is spinning from all the choices, check out these top trends from March):

Wow so many awesome choices. But, I’d absolutely go with the Autism Awareness design.

There are so many to choose from and they all depend on the mood or season. But I love the mint green chevron!

  4. Nancy Loring says

Icey rose polka dot really caught my eye. Of course so many others did too. I have never tried these on my nails but I also never saw such a great selection to choose from.

  5. Nadene Adams says

It’s hard to choose because they are all so pretty! But I love the Adam’s favorite pattern.

  6. Denise Elliott says

It is between the Pink Camo or because it is baseball season I could cheer my sons team on in the Curve Ball

  7. Emily Morelli says

My favorite design is the Mini Polka & Tropical Mirage junior set. They would be so cute on my daughter’s tiny nails!
